Wilson’s disease (WD), also known as hepatolenticular degeneration and is an autosomal recessive disorder. The present patient (32 years old male patient) was finally diagnosed with Wilsons disease because of the presence of Kayser-Fleischer rings around the cornea of his eyes, elevated urinary copper, serum bilirubin and liver enzymes and hepatic failure. He was treated with penicillamine, zinc, liver protectants, antibiotics and supportive care. As it cannot be cured, orthotopic liver transplantation is the only proved effective treatment for this dreaded development....
